Crusader started missing with smite when I had him switch to that, and the hellion was missing with iron swan before I had her try breakthru because I figure attacking multiple targets means better chance of hitting.

Have one of those female occultists in that back? Try to stun lock or use backrow attcks to eliminate her fast. This makes the crossbow guys essentially useless since now they can only jab at you. Have two crossbow guys in the back? Take out the two weaker skeletons in the front with direct damage attcks in the first round. You need to make good use of stun skill and know which enemy in any given group is the biggest threat to you and try to shut them down each round. After the third room getting beat down like that maybe you should have camped to get your health back up and buff your accuracy and lower stress.Īlso while AOE attacks are powerful they won't just win the game for you.
While getting bad RNG happens, a large part of the game is being able to deal and recuperate from these bad situations. I do strongly recommend making sure all you characters are resolve level two going into those fights however. You mentioned that their gear was leveled up, what about their skills and resolve level? Upgrading your skills to level two isn't really necessary for the first level bosses but it helps. The team you mentioned is put together well, have good synergy together. Sounds like you did have some bad luck there.
